Yesterday evening (3rd March) we commenced the second of our Lent Groups: Rosary 101.
We talked all about the Rosary, where it came from, about prayers beads in general, the 15 promises, Jesus, Mary, the Gospel, devotions, S. Dominic, Portugal, World War 1 – and so much more! The group even practiced a couple of decades and learnt how to add personal intentions.
Pictured above is the 3rd edition of the Rosary booklet we use; it contains all of the prayers, Gospel readings, plus some interesting information about the Rosary. You don’t even need Rosary beads to use it, everything you need is in the booklet.
If you’d like to know more, to ask questions, or to simply be part of a small group exploring this most beautiful form of prayer, then please do feel welcome to join us every Thursday in evening Smallthorne:
- Every Thursday during Lent, from 7pm, at S. Saviour.
