Next to each date is the liturgical day we are celebrating – sometimes this is a particular feast or saint’s day, this is indicated by their name and something about them: Ap = Apostle, M = Martyr, PM = Pope (Pontifex Maximus), Bp = Bishop, Pr = Priest, Dn = Deacon, Dr = Doctor of the Church, Ab = Abbot/Abbess, Rel = Religious, and so on.
