View from a Pew
Just as at Creation, God breathed life into the world (in whatever way that might have been) so at Jesus’ baptism for a brief moment the veil is lifted and Heaven in all its glory touches earth. God signals His presence among us. A seemingly ordinary young man goes into the water and emerges as The One Whom God Loves and through whom He wants to share His love and His everlasting communion with us ordinary people. And so the Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit is revealed as complete.
